A by-product of twisting silk filaments together in the reeled silk industry, Throwsters Silk is unlike any other fiber on the market.  Each package is a unique mix of the various textures these reeled silk fibers can be: some fibers are long and silky; others are kinky, wavy or curly.

Throwsters silk can be handled in several ways to create textured or smooth, shiny yarns. It may be challenging to spin by itself, but so much fun when blended in with other fibers.

The curly nature of this silk is a fun way to add texture and color to your spinning, mixed media, silk fusion or other fiber arts.
