Strips of multicoloured sari fabric has been spun with silk fibre to make a firm and vivid yarn. Our experiments are with jewelry right now.

As this silk is dyed in India, we recommend washing the silk in luke-warm water--to check for color-fastness--BEFORE using in your project.  (If your final will never be washed, then you can skip this step.)
