For 3-dimensional silk fusion creations, Gloss Varnish (full strength) is used IN PLACE OF textile medium.  Make your silk fusion (1-, 2-, or 3-layer) the usual way.  When finished with the "wet steps" (applying water then gloss varnish), peel off the top screen, then carefully lift the wet piece of silk fusion and drape it in the shape you want it to be when dry.

You can also use Gloss Varnish diluted (60 varnish/40 water) and use IN PLACE OF textile medium, if you desire a crisper, more paper-like silk fusion.

You can also protect your finished piece of silk fusion (made with textile medium) with two thin coats of this beautiful varnish that actually cleans up in water!  Helpful for rugged projects such as journal covers

Clear and non-yellowing. For serving trays, etc. 4 coats of varnish are needed. Provides a Gloss finish.
