We charge our exact cost for shipping and insurance--we do NOT add in any handling fees and we recycle boxes and packing materials to keep costs as low as possible.
We use US Postal Service Priority Mail for most orders and US Postal Service First Class when that is an economical choice--usually with sample cards and small threads & ribbon orders. EVERYTHING we ship has a tracking number. We try to use flat-rate options when possible. For heavy packages with a USA mailing address, we'll cost-compare Priority Mail and UPS Ground, choosing the more economical method for you.
Your Shipping Estimate is HIGH. You may call 1.888.383.7455 (silk) or email info@treenwaysilks.com for a closer shipping estimate. Please include your city/state/zip code (if you live outside the USA, your Country) and which items you expect to order. We are happy to provide a better estimate for you.
Checkout Step 3, you'll see the total of your items ordered and the Shipping Estimate (plus any applicable Colorado sales tax) make up your Order Estimate (visible on Step 4, “Confirm Order”).
Checkout Step 4, your Order Estimate will be the amount of the Pending Charge to your Credit Card, which occurs in step 5 “Submit Payment.”
Checkout Step 5: you may include comments or instructions to Treenway Silks. When you click on the green 'Place Order' button, your Credit/Debit Card will be securely processed by Authorize.Net Payment Gateway. For your security, Treenway Silks never sees or has access to your card information. Your card information is NOT saved on our site.
***Please double check the expiration and the CCV number you enter before you click "Place Order" button--if there's a typo, your card will be declined.

Once your order is submitted, you will receive an automatic "Order Notification" email from info@treenwaysilks.com This is automatically generated (no human intervention required). If you don't receive it, please check your spam/junk folders. Also, some emails (such as @gmail.com) have a "promotions" folder (often this folder is not easy to find) and our email may have gone in there.
Pending charges: You'll only see the pending amount for a couple days, then it disappears from your view. But it's still there for 30 days, where I can access it and finalize it for the actual amounts. Why does it disappear from your view? Who knows, other than I've concluded that CC companies do things a bit oddly.
For your security, the pending charge can only be finalized for the estimated amount or LESS. Never more.
After your silk has shipped:
The Final Charge on your cc will be equal or less than the Order Estimate and will reflect the actual weight and price of any silk yarns you may have ordered, any eligible discounts that are manually applied by yours truly, and actual postage/shipping costs.
