American Quilter magazine (official publication of the American Quilter's Society) is celebrating 40 years in 2024. The January 2024 issue celebrates an icon in the embroidery world, Judith Baker Montano.
There's a wonderful story by Judith on pages 30-34, focused on her love of crazy quilting. There are five wonderfully large, detail photos of Judith's crazy quilts. Just exquisite!
Traditionally there are no crazy quilt patterns, so beginning can be a bit daunting. Judith provides lots of guidance--as though she's right beside you, giving encouragement.
