Now you can! Ask your local needlework shop to host a Treenway Silks trunk show!
We are scheduling 2024 and 2025 now. Here's what is already booked:
- January 2024: Stitches of Tulsa, serving the greater Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
- February 2024: Radish Roots Needlepoint, Bunnell FL, serving the greater Palm Coast, Florida area.
- May 2024: Emily's Stitchery, Northbrook IL, serving the greater Chicago area.
- Mid-May through Mid-June 2024: Country Sampler, Spring Green WI, serving the great Madison Wisconsin area.
- June 2024: Florilegium, Weston MO, serving northern Kansas City and southern St Joseph greater metropolitan areas.
- July 2024: The Needlepoint Clubhouse, Kirkwood MO, serving the greater St. Louis area
- August 2024: The Word In Stitches, Littleton MA, servicing the greater Boston area.
- September 2024: Downing Street Needlepoint, Denver CO, serving the greater metropolitan area.
- October 2024: Rittenhouse Needlepoint, Philadelphia PA
- June 2025: West End Needlepoint, Richmondy VA
What's a Treenway Silks threads & ribbons trunk show like? It's customized for each shop.
Each shop decides which threads and/or ribbons they want to receive. Each shop also selects which colors lines (hand-dyed solids, Montano colorways or 65 Roses colorways) they want.
Why host a trunk show? It's a great way to "test drive" a new silk thread or ribbon for your shop. Or, if you carry some colors, you can bring in the missing colors in the line so your customers can see everything.
Some shops host the trunk show in conjunction with a retreat or when they bring in teacher who uses silk ribbon or silk threads.
This year, 2023, we had five successful trunk shows at Po's Point Needlework, Persnickety Stitchers, Novella Needlepoint, Stitchers Garden and The Enriched Stitch.
