It's a hot summer, so Richard is happy to be in the cool basement dyeing silk. He's dyed some new limited edition bombyx silk top colorways.
There's nothing like "Sorbet & Chocolate" when the weather is hot. Now you can spin it! [see photo in gallery below] With these luscious orange, mango, strawberry and peach colors, with a little chocolate accent here and there, I'm inspired to head to the freezer for some sorbet to drizzle it with chocolate sauce!
"Twilight Valley" colorway on bombyx silk is so vivid! [see photo in gallery below] We offer this colorway in Tussah Silk, but the natural tussah color "tones down" the colors. On the shimmery white bombyx silk, the colors just glow!
Last of our new colors is "Lake San Cristobal" [see photo in gallery below], inspired by the beautiful Colorado lake with the same name. This is a mixture of warm and cool blues, some medium and some dark values. It looks just like the photos HERE.
Lake San Cristobal colorway is truly limited edition...Richard was inspired to use a variety of blue dyes that were already mixed so this limited edition cannot be replicated.
