In May 1998 we became the North American representatives for Treetops Colour Harmonies www.treetopscolours.com.au. Treetops' Nancy Ballesteros resides in Perth, Australia. Nancy, Mark and son, Aaron, have visited us here to share business ideas, as well as relax around the fire pit on our Salt Spring Island farm.

Treetops specialises in hand-dyed, shimmering Tussah and Bombyx silk tops in numerous variegated lively solid colours. The stunning fibres are an inspiration in themselves and even more stimulating when put to use. Only the highest quality tussah fibre is transformed into the brilliant hues of this sophisticated colour palette so popular with our spinners.

A whole new group of artists is playing with the fibres creating silk fusion (fused silk felt). This is a unique process which bonds the fibres into a kind of "felt" which can be gossamer or leather like. For more information see Silk Fusion as well as Karen's Workshops on this web site.

All colours are available in 25g (0.9oz) and 50g (1.8oz) packages.
100g (3.5oz) Sampler Packs contain at least 10 colourways.
